Dr. Bryan Wilson, who is the leading expert in Sociology of Religion and the honorary professor of Oxford University, gave a lecture of "Sociology of Religion" and "the mission of university" to us as a visiting professor of Sociology Department in Soka University from Oct.6.1997 to Nov.29.

Though it was very busy during the Japan stay, he spared many time for us. He answered carefully though it faced what kind of question. His gentle manner gave many students impression. We learned many things from not only that deep scholarship but also the noble character.
